Ladies Be Architects

Welcome!

Ladies Be Architects is a volunteer group, with a goal of building confidence for all aspiring Salesforce architects, while amplifying and highlighting women's voices in technical architecture - a career with a large gender imbalance. We are an inclusive group, and encourage the participation of individuals of any and all gender identities.

With Emily McCowan

In this session, Emily gives an overview of the principles and techniques involved in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of changes to metadata within Salesforce and between environments.

We talk about repositories, CI Servers and even tools like Gearset for the enablement of a systematic way of working. Not sure when to use it? We discuss this and share experiences in Q&A. This is ideal if you’re trying to understand what it is, or if you’re taking a look at the topic for the Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer exam.

You can also download the slides here.

With Susannah St-Germain

Susannah’s Northeast Dreamin’ talk comes to Blanca Leon-Carter’s Apex16 study group! You don’t have to learn Apex to be an architect, but in case this interests you, you can learn the three rules of test-driven development and how to make testing PART of your code development – not an afterthought. Vocabulary and live coding are all part of the learning for this session.
