Ladies Be Architects

Welcome!

Ladies Be Architects is a volunteer group, with a goal of building confidence for all aspiring Salesforce architects, while amplifying and highlighting women's voices in technical architecture - a career with a large gender imbalance. We are an inclusive group, and encourage the participation of individuals of any and all gender identities.

With Susannah St-Germain

Susannah’s Northeast Dreamin’ talk comes to Blanca Leon-Carter’s Apex16 study group! You don’t have to learn Apex to be an architect, but in case this interests you, you can learn the three rules of test-driven development and how to make testing PART of your code development – not an afterthought. Vocabulary and live coding are all part of the learning for this session.

With Charly Prinsloo

With 141 registrations, this was our first study group after Dreamforce! We also had the luxury of a CTA attending – and quite a few of our male friends too. Thank you for showing up and sharing your experiences with us all.

In this session, we learn about federated authentication within the context of SAML. Learn the terminology, take a look at an SP-initiated flow and see how to set up SSO in practice!

Have a go at setting it up yourself – take the SSO Trailhead!
