This policy sets out how Ladies Be Architects aims to protect the privacy of your personal information, your rights in relation to your personal information, and the way Ladies Be Architects collects, holds, uses, and discloses your personal information.
Scope
This policy applies to all Ladies Be Architect's services, including the Ladies Be Architects website, and the Ladies Be Architects Scholarship Program. This policy does not apply to any third-party websites (which are not owned or controlled by Ladies Be Architects) that are linked to any Ladies Be Architects websites.

Ladies Be Architects protects the confidentiality of personal information collected about our service users.

There may be occasions when Ladies Be Architects collects your personal information from other sources such as: 1. partner service organisations such as Amplify, ScaleUp Archs, Flow Republic or Technocraft Cloud Services 2. a publicly maintained record or other publicly available sources of information including social media and similar websites.

Ladies Be Architects discloses your personal information for the purpose for which it was collected. This may include disclosing your personal information to:

Ladies Be Architects takes steps reasonable in the circumstances to ensure that the personal information it holds is protected from misuse, interference, and loss and from unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. Ladies Be Architects holds personal information in both hard copy and electronic forms in secure databases on secure premises, accessible only by authorised staff. Ladies Be Architect's cloud storage providers also maintain appropriate measures to protect personal information that Ladies Be Architects stores with them from unauthorised access, use and disclosure. Ladies Be Architects will destroy or de-identify personal information in circumstances where it is no longer required, unless Ladies Be Architects is otherwise required or authorised by law to retain the information.
Accessing and correcting personal information
Ladies Be Architects ensures the personal information it holds is accurate, up-to-date, complete, relevant and not misleading. Under the Privacy Act, you have a right to access and seek correction of your personal information that is collected and held by Ladies Be Architects. To access to your personal information, you must:

Ladies Be Architects will endeavour to respond to requests to access or correct personal information within 30 days.
Privacy complaints
Please direct all privacy complaints to hello@ladiesbearchitects.com. All privacy complaints will be dealt with seriously, promptly, and confidentially; and will not affect any existing obligations or commercial arrangements between you and Ladies Be Architects. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, you may refer the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

This policy may change from time to time. Any updated versions of this policy will be posted on our website and will be effective from the date of posting.
